How much does fulfillment cost in Switzerland? The real cost components.
Comparing only a “pick & pack” headline rate is not enough. Total cost depends on order volume, items per order, storage, packaging, transport and any fixed fees.
The components of a fulfillment price
A 3PL quote can contain several lines: inbound receipt, storage, picking, packing, additional items, consumables, shipping, returns and sometimes platform or subscription fees. To compare providers, rebuild the total cost per order.

The Packflow model
Packflow simplifies the structure into three main components: fulfillment + packaging + postage. The first item is included in fulfillment and each additional item adds CHF 0.20. 1 m³ of storage is included free of charge.
Fulfillment rates are CHF 4.90 for 100–999 orders/month, CHF 4.60 for 1,000–2,499, CHF 4.20 for 2,500–4,999 and CHF 3.90 from 5,000 orders/month.
Packaging and consumables
Packaging starts at CHF 0.80 per shipment and depends on format. It can include the mailer or box, invoice/delivery-note paper, adhesive label, tape and void fill. Packflow buys these consumables at volume, secures very competitive prices and passes the benefit on by recharging them at cost.
Postage
Swiss Post charges are recharged separately. Typical services include tracked A Plus at CHF 2.90 for very small 25 × 17.6 × 2 cm shipments, tracked A Plus at CHF 4.90 up to 5 cm high and PostPac Priority at CHF 9.00 for larger parcels.
Watch out for fixed fees
A very low unit rate can be offset by monthly minimums, software licences, integration fees or storage charges. Packflow charges no monthly subscription, setup fee or Shopify app fee. You pay for actual processed operations.
